If you’ve followed us here since the beginning, you’re well aware that we LIVE for the Round Top Antiques show. The Founder’s Collection swells every spring and fall with a random assortment of imports, artwork, and oddities picked up at the big event.

The little south Texas town used to boast Population 90, but over the past 10 years it has swelled to an almost unrecognizable size. While things look a little different these days, the show still has a special kind of magic that can only be found in Round Top.

It feels like I’ve been going for a long time, but the show started long before I started sourcing there. My husband and I began hauling our trailer down just over a decade ago when I was pregnant with my first child. Our kids have joined us for the Spring show almost every year since. Thankfully, we started ’em young so they love the place as much as we do! In the fall, when the weather is a lot hotter, stickier, and unpredictable, I make the trek on my own. I enjoy both equally as much. The spring show feels more like a social event, while the fall is a dizzying 3 days of nonstop shopping.

There are more Guide’s to Round Top out there than I can count and I’m not going to try and reinvent the wheel here; therefore, I’ll just leave you with some of my favorite images of our trips, the fun stops we’ve made in the area, and a few featuring the incredible things I’ve brought back over the years.

PHOTOS FROM TOP LEFT: Loading lights at Market Hill, Despite the shutdown the show must go on, Our entry doors sourced from Excess II, Shopping with fellow Amarillo antique dealers, Hotel Rental by Hostie, Celebrated my 35th birthday at the famous Rancho Pillow, Cute shop in the near by town of Burton, Converted everyone to a Round Top fan on this trip

Our finds from this month’s show are now available on the floor at From 6th Collective. Come by and see these incredible pieces today!
