We’re back with Part II of our Empowerment series over here. This time we’re talking about the powerhouse female that is James Kicinski-McCoy. I first came across her original blog Bleubird way back when all I did was scroll the web for inspiration while passing the hours at NEST.

On Bleubird, she documented life with her two littles, vintage finds, as well as some cool brands she was digging at the moment. Over the years her story has changed a lot (like 2 more kids and a new city), and it’s one that totally resonates with me. Having a tiny window into another individuals daily grind, thanks insta, helps those of us struggling to connect with like-minded individuals in our own sphere. She’s somewhat of a serial entrepreneur as well (sound familiar? Ha!), and recently launched her latest brand, The Bleu. It’s refreshing to see all of these creative women I’ve followed for years change and grow as their lives change and grow. Just because you start a business that works doesn’t mean it has to maintain that exact aesthetic forever.
