We sat down with Mosaic Beauty + Boutique owner, Kendra Carden Timmons and asked her some questions about her business.

You were born and raised in the Texas Panhandle. What is your favorite part about being a business owner in Amarillo?
Kendra: The community of business owners here that love to collaborate and support each other.
Along with having a brick-and-mortar store in Amarillo, you became a part of From 6th Collective starting this year. Since being at the Collective, what has been your favorite part of it all?
Kendra: Meeting the other vendors and getting our brand out to a whole new group of customers.
We know that Mosaic Beauty + Boutique is a one-of-a-kind shopping experience with the way you take care of your customer’s needs. Can you explain why and how you set yourself apart for such a unique shopping experience?
Kendra: We strive to provide our clients with timeless, high-quality clothing that is not only versatile but also sustainable. Our collection is curated to help women maximize the number of outfits they can create with a limited selection of interchangeable items. We believe in the power of simplicity and versatility, which is why we offer a range of classic, neutral-colored pieces that will never go out of style. Whether someone looking to build a sustainable wardrobe or simply streamline their closet, we’ve got them covered.
When you are not working at Mosaic, what do you enjoy doing during your free time?
Kendra: I own a boutique, salon, bridal hair and makeup company, rental properties, and have 4 children, so when I can I squeeze in pilates and love to read and cook.
We are already so close to the new year and I’m sure you have new and exciting plans up your sleeve. Can you tell us what you are looking forward to the most about 2024?
Kendra: I love the opportunity to create a fresh perspective for my team and our clients at the beginning of each year. I think 2024 will be all about celebrating successes big and small and simplifying.
