Anyone else feel like they blinked and the year was gone? The last actual post I sat down here to write was pre-Halloween for crying out loud. I’m currently in disbelief by the holiday season we just wrapped and am eager to nurture From 6th Collective in the coming year. We have a lot of exciting plans ahead but first, a recap of our incredible full first year is in order. I’ve said it before and I’lI say it again, Thank Y’all for all the support! xox Kasey

Our first class of 2021 took place in February with our beloved permanent retailer Blind Bird Designs. They’re returning for their third class February 5th!

We had so much fun hosting Amarillo native, Lizzy Chestnut. It’s been so much fun watching her boot company, City Boots, grow this past year.

Hollow Dot’s Welded Forever jewelry really took off. Here she is “popping up” before we built her permanent space within the shop.

The Roseberry sells some of the most unique Texas made beer & wine selections within their space at From 6th Collective as well as at their main shop located on Route 66. They teamed up with their distributor to offer tastings at multiple events throughout the year.

Selfie Central! We love to see you love From 6th Collective. Don’t forget to tag us so we can share your posts too!

We had so much fun at our Welcome Summer event with multiple brand partners. One of them being the Amarillo Museum of Art who provided a poster installation in our entry and a craft station for kiddos.

Mitch E’s Frozen Lemonade was a huge hit during those 100+ temps.

We hope to partner with the DHDC again this coming year because their kid friendly experiments were a huge hit!

Myself along with 4 other female mamaprenuers in the area gathered together for a night of learning and connection at our How She Started workshop. It’s been one of my greatest joys to see the growth of all the women in attendance.

Permanent retailer and local favorite Free Cheese Prints popped up with their mobile screen printing studio to provide custom, limited edition Mother’s Day tees.

We got to collaborate with one of our areas newest and coolest vintage denim slingers, Wild Violet Vintage.

It was a pleasure partnering with Los Poblanos, a hospitality group and working farm located just 4 hours west in Albuquerque. We served up samples of their delicious lavender margaritas (we sell the kit in the shop) and gave away a weekend stay to their beautiful property.

Brick + Elm, Amarillo’s truly local magazine, for their launch party. Tell us, have you been reading along? You can either subscribe or pick up a copy here at our shop as well as at Burrowing Owl Books.

I got to teach my first in house, hands on workshop where attendees got to recreate the massive baby’s breath peace sign install we made for our spring display.

The Tap Truck popped up with the most amazing, small batch made sodas during our Father’s Day event.

We hosted the Amarillo EDC and several interns for a small luncheon and some shopping. Love getting to introduce new residents to all that the Amarillo area has to offer.

It’s always a good time when permanent retailer Dove Creek Ranch brings out their miniature petting zoo. We were fortunate enough to have them out more than once last year.

Succa for Succulents popped up in the creative education classroom for multiple workshops in 2021. Make sure you’re subscribed to our email list to be the first to know about upcoming classes.

Flecks of Love custom cookies were a huge hit at several events within From 6th Collective last year. We can’t wait to host them again.

Everybody’s local favorite custom hat slinger, CG Designs made her From 6th Collective debut during our Best in the West event back in August.

Permanent retailer and creative guru Fresh Press designs popped up for customer M Street Studio bag painting too!

Thanks Osito for keeping our customers fed at two of our big events last year. Their tacos are out of this world!

It felt so good getting to shine a little light on all the things the good folks at Hotel Turkey have been doing for the fun, historic little town only 2 hours south of Amarillo.

We were honored to support the Hoodoo Mural Festival’s second annual event. Watching the latest Blank Spaces crew work their magic on the new Barfield hotel was an added bonus!

Permanent retailer Designer’s Garage may only sell children’s goods within From 6th Collective, but they have so much more to offer at their Dumas location. Pamela set up in the creative classroom and taught attendees how to use specialty paints to create modern and traditional forever pumpkins.

Finally teaming up with Palace Coffee was another pop up highlight. We admire all that Patrick and his wife Krystal have done to improve the Amarillo and Canyon community over the years.

Wow! The Amarillo Little Theater Academy came out and did a little singing for us during our First Rodeo event. These local kids are so talented and we cannot wait to watch them grow.

How cute is this!?! Sips & Giggs completed her trailer just in time and was able to pop up during our First Rodeo event also. The apple cider margaritas were *chefs kiss*

Small Business Saturday completely blew us away. You guys came out in droves! Thankfully we had Fav’s in the shop to keep anyone from getting hangry. Haha! And a shout out to permanent retailer The Weekender for the super cool custom tees we all got to show off for the day.

Taking potted plants up a notch is what permanent retailer Pete’s Greenhouse does best. We were so happy to have them teach their first workshop in the creative classroom this year.

Last but certainly not least, we had the infamous Mr. & Mrs. Clause out at our final event of the year. How cute are they!?!

While this doesn’t cover everything and everyone we got to collaborate with over the past year, it goes to show just how incredible the community we’re building together here on this little slice of Texas really is. Looking forward to seeing and growing with all of you in the years to come. Happy New Year!!!
