If you’ve been downtown recently you’ve probably noticed a lot of freshly painted walls with lifts waiting beside them. That’s because we’re only a few days away from Amarillo’s first Hoodoo Mural Festival.

I’m so happy to see that not only did our City take public art initiatives this year by offering a matching grant program for muralists, but there’s been a lot more artworks going up simultaneously through organizations like Blank Spaces & Hoodoo.
