Since our first event back in December, we’ve made it a point to create something exciting for y’all once a month. We’ve celebrated our gal pals at our Galentine’s Day event, the beginning of summer, and our incredible moms and dads. As you can see, celebrating is kind of our thing no matter how big or small.
That’s why we’re thrilled to announce our first Best in the West event coming to you August 14th, 2021 from 10 AM – 6 PM! We’ll be showcasing the places and people that make the Texas Panhandle grand. Join us and our incredible vendors and pop-ups. We have a Texas-sized line-up, so get ready, and read below for more details.
Hopefully, you visited us during our Mother Like No Other event. If you did, you got to try delicious tacos by our first guest chef, Diego Murguia of Osito. We’re thrilled to have him back. This time enjoy his family’s favorite, tacos de Pipián from 12-4. Pipián, is a sauce made with ground nuts and chiles. This sauce is said to have origins in the ancient Aztec and Mayan cuisines.
Flecks of Love
We love when our food is pretty–bonus points if it’s as tasty as it looks! All of this is true with the beautiful creations at Flecks of Love. Grab a tasty treat and order her incredible felt flower bouquets from 12 – 4.
Succa for Succulents
Join Succa for Succulents as she leads a come-and-go back-to-school themed DIY from 12-4 PM. Choose from a 4″ planter ($20) or a 6X2″ planter ($25).
Still Austin Whiskey
Still Austin is popping up for a bourbon + gin tasting from 12-4pm. They will also be hosting a Silent Auction for an original art piece, just like the artwork printed on their labels! All proceeds from the auction will benefit the Panhandle Plains Historic Museum.
Fresh Press Designs X M Street Studio
A collaboration we’ve been waiting for! Join Fresh Press Designs and M Street Studio for live product painting from 12-4 PM featuring new special edition Texas Designs by M Street Studio.

HooDoo Mural Festival
Established 2019, HOODOO Mural Festival has inspired unity in the community through public art, urban beautification, and creativity by way of a bike-able, walk-able outdoor art gallery in downtown Amarillo.
Learn more about their second festival, October 2nd and shop their merch in person from 12-4 PM!
Meet the artist and maker Chelsea behind CG Designs. She’ll be bringing along her wood-burned jewelry and amazing hand burned and painted wide brim hats.
Panhandle Plains Historical Museum
The Panhandle Plains Historical Museum will be making an appearance at Best In The West! They will be sharing their Dino Trunk Dig for the kiddos who come out. Don’t forget to grab some PPHM merch while you’re out west!
December was the launch of our Collective Cares initiative. Through Collective Cares our hopes are to give back to our community through our time and donations. This month we’re happy to share that 10% of our sales from this event will go toward Panhandle Plains Historical Museum.
PPHM Museum is Texas’ largest history museum. From dinosaurs to conquistadors, you’ll find it there! We’re huge advocates of the arts + history (after all it makes us who we are) and are thankful for PPHM’s contributions to the Amarillo + Canyon communities.
