For us, there’s nothing better than that high desert air. We’re greeted with inspiration, rejuvenation, and relaxation every time we cross that state line. Sure, we often wish we lived in a prettier part of Texas, but having this retreat only a few hours away is hard to beat.

A quick trip to Los Poblanos Historic Inn and Farm in Albuquerque, New Mexico is always a treat. This lush property is set among 25 acres of lavender fields, larger than life cottonwood trees, and formal gardens. It’s the ideal setting for a quick, yet memorable getaway.  

Since visiting a couple of years ago, we’ve tried to find a way to bring back a piece of Los Poblanos magic with us. Their pantry and bath/body products, as many of you already know, are amazing! Y’all are loving their lavender simple syrup so much that we’ve struggled to keep it in stock.

Have you tried out the Lavender Simple Syrup yet? Our absolute favorite way to use it is by recreating the famous Los Poblano lavender margarita. Rim your glass with Lavender Salt + Sugar, add some citrus, a splash of tequila, and a dash of simple syrup.

Can’t find the time to getaway? Draw a bath, close your eyes, and let the Los Poblanos bath salt transport you to the land of enchantment. We use it as a nice hand scrub daily. To say we L O V E the lavender hand salve is an understatement. It smells incredible and keeps your hands moisturized in the super dry, super cold months here in the Texas Panhandle. Hands down, it’s a Collective Cowgirl favorite.
